Seiko 508GS for Solvent Ink

The important point for replacement is that a water-based 508GS may be a different version from a solvent/UV 508GS.

For this reason, printhead replacement and ink-system conversion should be treated as two different tasks.
If you are only replacing a failed or worn head, matching the machine’s existing ink system is generally the appropriate starting point.

Don’t identify a Seiko 508GS by model family or appearance alone—confirm the part number and ink system together.
